PSL Focus: Sundowns v AmaZulu

AmaZulu beat Mamelodi Sundowns 3-2 in last season's first round league game at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. Today the two teams meet in their league opener at the same stadium and Sundowns coach Johan Neeskens said that they plan to make it a win.
Neeskens made it clear that the club wants to win trophies this season and to do that they have to overcome all opposition.
"You know we are playing entertaining football and we want to win to bring the supporters back to the stadium. I know very little about AmaZulu but we will play for a win," Neeskens said.
His counterpart at AmaZulu, Manqoba Mnqithi, who watched Sundowns beat Celtic in the MTN8 Cup last week, said that they are ready for the expertly assembled Sundowns squad.
"They have good individual players but as a team I think we can match them in all departments. We want to do better than we did last season. We have done so well in the pre-season and with the morale and confidence in the team we can win in Pretoria," said the coach.
