Venue: King Zwelithini Stadium
Time: 20h15

Golden Arrows will be hoping for a better result when they host SuperSport United at the King Zwelithini Stadium tonight.
Abafana Bes’thende lost 3-2 away to Bloemfontein Celtic in their opening game of the second round, while SuperSport came from behind to force a draw against Free State Stars on Wednesday night.
Despite their 12th position on the log standings, Arrows captain Thanduyise Khuboni is optimistic of a positive result against the three-time champions.
“We simply can’t afford to drop anymore points, especially at home, and our log position dictates that. A draw will not help us at all, which is why we will be going for maximum points. We will have to do the same thing in our following match against Black Leopards. We can’t make any excuses now and I’m sure of a positive result after losing to Celtic,” said Khuboni.
Ghana international midfielder, John Arwuah, on the other hand believes this will be time for them to capitalise on the positives they took from their drawn match against Stars.
“We created a lot of chances against Stars, although we failed to convert them. There were a lot of positives that we took from the game and we can only get better when we meet Arrows. I know it won’t be easy because they lost their last game but, as long as we draw from the positives we saw against Stars, we will stand a better chance. We’ve worked a lot on our finishing and I’m sure we’re going to perfect our finishing,” said Arwuah.
