Pitso Recruits Brazilians

Leal and Mosimane

News reaching the Siya crew is that Mamelodi Sundowns are bringing Jairo Leal and fitness trainer Francesco Chicco Gonzalesto to the club to assist head coach Pitso Mosimane.

As reported by Soccer-Laduma recently, the club parted ways assistant coaches Harold Legodi and Jan Dirks and Mosimane is now looking to link up with some familiar faces.

The Brazilian duo had worked together with Mosimane at Bafana Bafana previously, as the assistant coach and fitness trainer respectively.

Gonzales is already at Chloorkop, while Leal expected to arrive at the club soon.

A Soccer-Laduma source at the club told the Siya crew that Leal is currently in Brazil due to family commitments.

"They can still bring him in because coaches don't work like players. There are no window period to register them. Now that he has sorted his family issues out in Brazil, he will soon be joining the team and that's what the head coach (Mosimane) has recommended to the management," said the source.
