Pirates & Kalaba Deal To Be Finalised

Orlando Pirates and TP Mazembe are expected to finalise a deal with midfielder Rainford Kalaba before the start of the 2013 African Cup of Nations on January 19.
The Siya crew revealed in issue 800 of Soccer-Laduma that Orlando Pirates are closing in on Kalaba's signature, and it now seems that the club is in the final stages of negotiations.
The Zambian, who was also on Mamelodi Sundowns' wanted list, is believed to have agreed to a three-year deal with the Buccaneers, but the two teams have yet to agree terms.
A Soccer-Laduma source close to Pirates revealed that the deal is almost done and just a few loose ends needs to be tied down.
"It will be finalised by the time the Afcon starts, the deal would have been concluded. The chairman is expected to meet TP Mazembe's chairman Katumbi Chapwe in the next few days to finalise negotiations, but I can't say much about the details right now. The player was offered a three year deal by Pirates," confirmed the source.

Pirates is de only team dt have many talented midfilders, whr is he gona play, de lyks of Ntshumayelo, Okonkwo, Mante Maholo, Bester, Mashaba r yet 2 shine. Y don't u sell/loan Mabena, Ndulula, Bester, Mbuyane, Qcaba etc so dt dey get game tym coz tym is nt on deya side den ONLY BUY a young ambitious strikr who wil learn frm Mccathy, Mbesuma nd Takesure coz de lykz of Ndululas hv failed 2 gain xperienc? Im only hoping he comes for the benefit of PSL boosting top players. As for playing for Pirates...Aii....I really Dont know if its a wise move. Simply because of the squard OP has. He could easily go to Chiefs where, in my opinion as a khosi fan, he can bench someone for a starting position.

Molane you can tell us about Jabu Mahlangu who also played for us Pirates. Don't tell us about Thabo Mooki and compare him with Kalaba. South Africa will be Kalaba's second country outside Zambia in which Kalaba plays. Mooki only played in South Africa and nowhere else in the world,playing outside your home country is an achievement! I respect Mooki yes,but don't compare him to Kalaba!
