Pieterse To Train With Chiefs
27 November 2012
Young South African goalkeeper, Reyaad Pieterse, is due to begin training with PSL log leaders Kaizer Chiefs this afternoon.
Having spent last week with Orlando Pirates and the week before with his former club, Wits, the 20-year-old will now join up with Stuart Baxter and his ranks as he continues to mull over his future.
Pieterse recently left Irish team Shamrock Rovers, following the expiry of his deal, and is now weighing up the next step in his career, whether it be in South Africa or back in Europe.
The shot-stopper previously told the Siya crew that there is an opportunity for him at Dundalk FC in Ireland, and the crew has now been informed that there is also possible interest in Belgium.
While Pieterse is to begin training with Chiefs, it is as yet unknown whether he will be keen to remain in Mzansi, or use his foothold in Europe to continue his career abroad.
It is thought that the talented youngster, who came through the Nike Chance competition, has made himself a target for both the Buccaneers and the Clever Boys, following his time spent with them.
