Palmgren’s Exit To Affect Manqana?
29 November 2012
Roger Palmgren’s departure from AmaZulu could affect Njabulo Manqana’s chances of signing with the Durban-based side.
The former Golden Arrows and Orlando Pirates midfielder has spent the past two weeks on trial with the KwaZulu-Natal club, as he aims to get his professional career back on track.
He had impressed Palmgren during his trial and a deal was expected to be imminent, however the Swede has since been shown the door with Craig Rosslee replacing him on the Usuthu bench.
AmaZulu team manager, Philani Mabaso, told the Siya crew that signing the player is no longer the team’s priority, following the departure of the former Thanda Royal Zulu coach.
“I don’t think it’s something that will be happening soon. The coach who was looking at him is no longer with us. I don’t think it’s an issue that is a priority for us at the moment,” said Mabaso.
Manqana is currently a free agent after leaving Pirates over two months ago. He is still training with Usuthu in the hope that the club will give him an opportunity to resurrect his career.

Aagh shame bantu Manqana. Don't worry cos Mnqithi has returned to his Aunt Mato at your village in Lamontville. He will re-call you in no time my boy. One of the Lamontville Golden Arrows only type of players like Zothwane, Mshengu, Nale, Senamela and Dikgacoi. Home sweet home my boy.

some people are crazy, being quality does not guatrantee a starting berth, and if you dont use your opportunity given, Bucs cant be blamed, players are always free to go, they sit around earning big fat cheques and watching from the stands with free tickets, instead of leaving earlieri for game time...

You guys if you gonna run that team like you do ,just forget that you gonna be in the psl next season. Even a 4 year old monkey can tell you that manqana is more than good to get a contract.

Don't think he'll be affected, Fannie was the assistant to the sacked coach.
