Ntshangase Surfaces At Stars

Free State Stars coach Steve Komphela and his technical team are assessing Wesley Ntshangase with a view of adding him to the squad roster.
The Orlando Pirates development product has been is search of a PSL contract over the past few months. Ntshangase’s search took him to Pirates’ arch rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, however he was not offered a deal under former coach Vladimir Vermezovic.
A reliable source at Ea Lla Koto informed the Siya crew that Viera, as Ntshangase is known in football circles, has started his trial with the team.
“Viera is with us. He started training on Thursday (yesterday). He is a good player, I know him. But I didn’t get to see him much yesterday because he was training closely to the guys that didn’t play on Wednesday against Ajax Cape Town, while we were just regenerating on the other side,” said the source.
Ntshangase hopes to sign with the Bethlehem-based side and fill the gap left by his close friend, Mzikayise Mashaba, following the former Platinum Stars player’s departure to Wits during the past transfer window.
