Nthethe Deal Agreed, Not Signed
16 February 2012
Captain of Bloemfontein Celtic, Thabo Nthethe, is in the final stages of signing a new contract at the club after it was confirmed that the two parties have agreed on terms.
Nthethe has been attracting interest from South Africa’s big three, Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, but it seems that, as the Siya crew recently reported, his imminent future remains in Bloemfontein.
Phunya Sele Sele’s technical director, Mich d’Avray, confirmed the news to the crew, explaining that it is just the finer details that need to be ironed out and that the deal should be done by the end of the week.
D’Avray said, “It’s safe to say that we’ve agreed on a deal, there are just one or two things to sort, dotting some i’s and crossing some t’s, but there is nothing to sort that is a deal breaker.”
While the interest in Nthethe has grown in recent weeks it has been no secret that Siwelele have been keen to keep hold of their skipper, and it seems, for now at least, that they will do just that.

Let him sign a new deal with Celtic bcause he can for chiefs, sundowns and pirates and they won't even play him so it is better if he stays at Celtic.
