Ngcepe Boost For Sivutsa

11 January 2013

Former Moroka Swallows and SuperSport United striker Thulani Ngcepe has been thrown a lifeline by Sivutsa Stars after concluding a deal with the side.

Despite the early promise expressed in Ngcepe’s career, the 22-year-old has experienced a number of challenges without making any significant progress in his professional career.

He last played for Atlie FC before parting ways with the side. The Tsakane-born player is now expected to resurrect his career with the Mpumalanga-based outfit in the NFD.

Former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Innocent Mayoyo told the Siya crew that he facilitated the player’s move.

“We have sent Thulani Ngcepe to Sivutsa Stars. He belongs to us. You must remember that I had a relationship with the people at Sivutsa so they took him. When he was released from Atlie we took him and we immediately got him a job,” said Mayoyo.

Sivutsa beat Dynamos to the player’s signature. The Limpopo-based club had set their sights on him in an attempt to strengthen their squad.
