New Team Doctor For Downs

Mamelodi Sundowns have added former Bafana Bafana team doctor, Dr. Carl Kgabo Tabane, to their set-up, following the resignation of Dr. Human in December of 2012.
Tabane has worked for three time league winners SuperSport United as well as University Of Pretoria, in the past.
“Tabane is replacing Dr. Human who left the team in late December. The team is still looking at the issue of the assistant coach and I don't know when Leal is arriving but that is what (Pitso) Mosimane has recommended," said a source at Downs.
Coach Pitso Mosimane has indicated, according to sources, that he wants Jairo Leal, his deputy while at the helm of Bafana, as his assistant on the Downs bench, however it remains to be seen whether he will be appointed. In the meantime, physical trainer Zac van Heerden has joined Mosimane’s technical team.
Called for comment Sundowns PRO Kabelo Mosito confirmed the appointment of the two, although refused to comment on the issue of Leal.
"We are talking about the team doctor and the trainer, yes they are both with the team. The other issue let's not talk about it now," Mosito said.
