Neeskens Chuffed With Win
25 November 2012
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Johan Neeskens was naturally pleased with his team's 1-0 defeat of Bloemfontein Celtic in the Premiership on Sunday.
The Brazilians claimed only their second league win of the season courtesy of Man of the Match Richard Henyekane's 36th minute goal at Free State Stadium.
The clubs will meet again in the Telkom Knockout final next Saturday at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
"It was a good result against a team known for their strength at home, and the players gave their best," said Neeskens, whose unit climbed a point above AmaZulu at the foot of the table with the triumph.
"I always said things will improve. It was a difficult game, we created some opportunities and scored a good goal. I think we deserved to win," concluded the under-fire Dutchman.
The defeat leaves Phunya Sele Sele eighth in the standings on 16 points - six more than Downs and 11 behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs after 12 rounds of fixtures.

I happy with our win but I think Teko must give Hlompo a chance because Teko he is not creative like Kekani.Teko he Is not good enough for shoe shin and pioneer , he don't have killer pass even through pass he never create it he like to play one on one and it didn't bring us a win. Kekani he can attack when he loose a ball he is unlike Modise.

Kaizer chips saw fire on saturday. Those dikwenas were too good but at least they want to keep d pace wth everyone n avoiding too much of a gap.that's fair play n God will bless them. At least sunflops can close the gap. But the psl must gv sunflops an amnesty in honour of Motsepe. If sunflops wins wth 2 or more goals they must give them an extra point jus for 2 weekends.
