Mulenga Commits To Celtic

15 February 2012

Clifford Mulenga

Bloemfontein Celtic’s technical director, Mich d’Avray, has confirmed to the Siya crew that his side has extended Clifford Mulenga’s stay in Mangaung.

The Zambian player has rejoined his Celtic team mates and wants to put what happened to him at the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea behind him.

“We had an option with Clifford so we have exercised the option. It’s something that has been done already,” said D’Avray.

The former Mpumalanga Black Aces player is one of the consistent players in Clinton Larsen’s side. He has already played in 14 of the club’s first round games, and will want to put the Afcon debacle behind him in the second round and continue with his career.

Mulenga could not celebrate the Afcon success with his Zambian team mates as his time in the team was cut short after he was sent home for disciplinary reasons.
