02 February 2012
Free State Stars striker Tebelo Mofokeng has been handed his clearance and has left the club. The news was confirmed to the Siya crew by the club’s general manager, Rantsi Mokoena, who explained that the player had already picked up the paperwork.
Mokoena went on to reveal that they have recalled two of their players, in Mpho Makola and Mxolisi Gumede, who have been taken off the transfer list and given a second chance. Mokoena said, “We have recalled them so they can get a second chance with the team”.
Mokoena also explained that midfielder, Thamane Motaung, has been released to NFD side Carara Kicks, while Madoda Mota has joined Sivutsa Stars FC.
Mofokeng, previously of Carara Kicks and Bloemfontein Young Tigers, will now be on the look out for a new club in his attempts to keep playing professional football.
