Modisane Calls On Bucs Fans
08 November 2012
Orlando Pirates catapulted themselves into second place on the Absa Premiership table after a convincing 3-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday. After nine rounds of league action, the defending PSL champions are sitting on 17 points and four points adrift log leaders, Kaizer Chiefs.
The Soweto giants are looking to carry their momentum into Saturday’s game with Free Sate Stars, when the two outfits clash at the Orlando Stadium, at 18h00, in a Premiership tie.
Bucs PRO, Mickey Modisane, told the Siya crew that he is confident that the team will continue with the form they expressed against the Brazilians when they host Ea Lla Koto. He added that goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa’s injury is not critical.
"Senzo's injury is not bad. We will get a report later today but I am positive we can do well again on Saturday. I just urge our supporters to remember that the game is at 6pm, at the Orlando Stadium,” explained the PRO.
He emphasised, “They should know the time. It is at 6pm. We urge them to come just like they did against Sundowns and continue to support the team.”
