Moathlaping Waiting On Permit
28 January 2012
Bay United are still waiting for Moemedi Moathlaping’s work permit, with the Botswana striker currently on international duty in Gabon at the 2012 African Cup of Nations finals.
The striker joined the Polokwane-based side early last year, just before the start of the new season, but has not played in an official game due the delay in issuing of the permit. The club is doing everything in their power to sort out the issue before the restart of the league on February 15.
Bay’s general manager, Nomalungelo “Lungsi” Mooi, told the Siya crew that they are hoping to have the permit ready by the time he returns from the Afcon finals.
“We applied for the work permit last year. We have been following up on it for as long as I can remember but up to now, there is nothing. We are hoping that now we will get it before he comes back from the national team duties so that we can have him for the second round.
“We need an experienced player like him in the team to help us score goals. The team has been doing well but we have been failing to find the back of the net. With the help of an experienced player like Moemedi, he can help solve that problem,” Mooi concluded.

Sounds like a COW. I wonder if he will score even a single goal in the AFCON! MXM, this COW, we need goals there to qualify for second round!
