Mhamha Signs For AmaZulu
22 January 2013
AmaZulu have made their second signing of the year, after clinching a deal with Phumlani Mhamha. The 28-year-old impressed the AmaZulu technical team after training with the squad under the guidance of coach Craig Rosslee.
Golden Arrows also showed interest in the player after seeing him play in a friendly for AmaZulu during his trial, however he opted to commit his future to Usuthu.
Mhamha had a disappointing first round of the season with Ea Lla Koto after spending most of the time either on the bench or in the stands, and is now looking at getting his career back on track.
The former Bush Bucks player confirmed his move to Usuthu with the Siya crew. He said, “The deal has been concluded. I did well when I trained with the team. I signed a two-and-a-half year deal. I am excited with the latest developments in my career. I just need to work hard to ensure that I enjoy my time with the team.
AmaZulu have already signed Njabulo Manqana as Rosslee prepares to salvage the team’s PSL status when the league resumes in February.
