Mahlangu Signs For FC Cape Town

It was reported in Soccer-Laduma’s latest edition, issue 759, that FC Cape Town’s decision on Jabu Mahlangu was imminent.
The Siya crew can now confirm that the talented midfielder has penned a deal with the National First Division outfit that will see him with the club until the end of the season.
The former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates player has been training with the NFD side since we broke the news of his presence in the Mother City, some three weeks ago.
According to information received from a source close to the deal, Mahlangu signed a short-term contract with the club, promising to help him in the future if he proves his worth in the team.
“It’s a done deal and Jabu has signed. He signed a five-month contract with an option for a year. The chairman (Errol Dicks) is keen to help Jabu if he shows commitment during his stay at the club.
“He can help him to get back to his best. The task for Jabu at the moment is to get back to full fitness as the chairman is prepared to even send him overseas if he is pleased with his progress,” said the source.

Eish , what a talent . An off form Jabu is still much better than Modise and current playears. Technically he is sound . Discipline is a problem 4 Jabu, but damn what a talented player.
