Larsen: We Learnt A Thing Or Two
28 November 2012
Last Sunday Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 in an Absa Premiership clash at the Free State Stadium. This Saturday, December 1, will see the two teams come head-to-head for the second time in the space of a week as they fight it out for the title of 2012 Telkom Knockout champions.
Siwelele will take on the Brazilians at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban and Celtic coach, Clinton Larsen, is confident going into the game. He says that the team learnt from the league loss and will look to capitalise on what they took out of the game.
He said that there are no second chances in cup football and that his players are motivated for the final.
“This is a final and there is no second chance. We learnt a thing or two in the Sunday game, which will help us plan for the final. The players did well in the league game and they will continue from there on Saturday.
“As I have said, this is a cup final and we would love to lift the trophy,” Larsen concluded.
