Laffor-Cale Deal Concluded!
19 January 2012
The Siya crew can exclusively reveal that Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United have concluded one of the most interesting deals of the January transfer window, involving Mabhudi Khenyeza, Anthony Laffor, Franklin Cale and Tebogo Langerman.
Having signed a pre-contract with SuperSport at the beginning of the January transfer window, Khenyeza will now join the Gavin Hunt coached team with immediate effect, following the deal that was concluded this evening, Thursday January 19.
Cale will be joining Khenyeza at SuperSport while Laffor makes his way in the opposite direction, to Chloorkop. Langerman, on the other hand, will also move to the Johan Neeskens-coached outfit, however will only join the team at the end of the season.
It was revealed last weekend by the crew that Laffor had concluded his medical examination with The Brazilains, while Cale completed his two days prior, on the Friday.
With the players having both passed their medicals, the respective clubs have been finalising the finer details of the contracts over the past few day, agreeing on the terms and sorting out the players’ personal requirements.
In addition it was revealed that SuperSport would receive an undisclosed transfer fee on the transaction. SuperSport’s chief operations officer, Jose Ferreira, confirmed that the deal has been concluded.
“The negotiations with Mamelodi Sundowns were long and difficult, but I am very happy with the final outcome of the negotiations. The transfer is hugely beneficial to us in that I believe that our squad has been undoubtedly strengthened with this deal.
“Mabhudi Khenyeza and Franklin Cale are both exceptionally talented and experienced players and they will be a huge boost to our team.”
“Whilst the football market has become increasingly difficult, SuperSport United will continue to strive to be a competitive force in South African football,” read Ferreira’s statement.

U people are frustratingly stupid @ruud krol ur question was "when was the last time that sundowns beat rats"? And my answer was "2010 in the nedbank cup full stop" bt i volunteerily went as far as saying "sundowns abused rats for a very long time no wonder we couldnt beat them in four matches, by saying this i was refering to the matches that actually favoured rats and purposefully ignoring the other two matches where they ended in a draw. Nw what more do u want frm me u geek nerds?

And my answer to ur question was 2010 in the nedbank cup. Then i went as far as saying "sundowns has been using rats as their punching bag for a very long time no wonder we havent beaten rats in 4 matches" by saying this i was refering 2 the matches that favoured rats.
