Khune: Have To Be On Top Of Our Game

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, says that they cannot undermine any team in the Absa Premiership, if they are to challenge for league honours this season.
The Soweto giants last won a league title during the 2004/05 campaign, and are looking to emulate that feat this season. Currently at the summit of log standings, the Stuart Baxter-coached side will be looking to maintain their lead when they host Moroka Swallows on Tuesday night at the FNB Stadium.
South Africa’s first choice shot-stopper told the Siya crew that although they have consistently picked up results, at times they have struggled and have had to work hard for the points.
"We are playing very well but this doesn't mean we have or we can undermine our opponents. All teams are fighting for the top position and for us to be there until the end we have to keep on fighting. There is no time to relax.
“We are playing Moroka Swallows who are a very good team. Actually, all the teams in the league are good and we have to be on top of our game at all times to keep on winning and maintain the league form.
“There is no room for undermining other teams. We are all the same and it's hard work which makes us win," Khune concluded.
