Katza Given Time Off!

SuperSport United defender Ricardo Katza has been given some time off from the team, as his wife is expected to give birth this week!
According to our sources at the Tshwane-based club, the Cape Town-born defender has been excused from club commitments until after the birth of his child.
An informant told the crew, “I think his wife is expected to go to labour sometime this week.” The crew’s attempts to get hold of Katza proved fruitless as his phone rang unattended on a number of occasions.
‘Matsatsantsa a Pitori’ assistant coach, Thomas Madigage, confirmed the news, when contacted by the crew. “His wife is expecting a baby and is at a critical stage, so the club has decided to give him some time off.
"He needs to be by his wife’s side, especially at this stage, and we are all supporting them as the team. That’s why he’s been given as much time as he needs because life is more important than football. So we have given Ricardo indefinite compassionate leave,” said Madigage.
