Igesund Rues Missed Chances

Moroka Swallows coach Gordon Igesund believes missed chances cost his side victory in the 3-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
The Dube Birds boss was saddened by the result, but insisted his team could have scored up to seven goals themselves.
"I was very disappointed tonight. I wasn't actually unhappy with the way we played. We played quite well tonight, but we just missed so many chances," he said.
"We just gave too many soft goals away. The first two were very soft, but at the end of the day if you don't score goals you're going to get punished and that's what happened to us tonight. We just have to keep working on our mistakes and get it right.
"With the opportunities we created, we could have scored six or seven goals tonight, but we didn't and we lost concentration at the back and were always chasing the game. When that happened we were at risk of conceding a third and we did."
Despite the result, Swallows still remain in the hunt for the Absa Premiership title and the former Sundowns boss was magnanimous in defeat as he congratulated his opponents who moved up to second on the table.
"You can't afford to miss so many chances away from home against a team like Kaizer Chiefs. Well done to them they got a good result, the result they wanted," he said.

Gordon undermines Chiefs, he always say he going 2 pick up maximum points against Chiefs. If u write Chiefs off like Gordon does, it is at ur own peril

This result proves that Swallows is not in Jomo Cosmos` standard and class. Jomo C osmos is bigger and better than Swallows who were hammeredm 3-0 by offside and referee`s team.
