Henyekane Training With Stars

The Siya crew can reveal that former Mpumalanga Black Aces defender, Joseph Henyekane, is being assessed at Free State Stars.
The club’s PRO, Lebohang Maketa, confirmed to the crew that the Kimberly-born left back has teamed up with the rest of the Ea Lla Koto contingent.
“With regards to the issue of Joseph Henyekane, yes, he is training with the team. I just received confirmation from the general manager (Rantsi Mkoena) that the player is in camp with the team for assessment. There is nothing much to say about him at this stage because he has just joined the team for training,” said Maketa.
Stars are searching for a left back after the departure of Thabo Matlaba to Orlando Pirates in January and Henyekane is a capable player, with undisputed talent, but his discipline is somewhat questionable.
He was meant to play for Wits having agreed terms with the side earlier this season, but the club decided against signing him after he failed to return from the sick leave he was given.
