Ertugral: No Starting Line-Up Yet

14 February 2012

Muhsin Ertugral

Golden Arrows coach, Muhsin Ertugral, has explained that he has not yet decided on the 11 players that will start for his side when they face Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday.

Abafana Bes’thende were one of the most active teams during the January transfer window and brought in the likes of Andre Petim, Clifford Ngobeni, Sibusiso Hadebe, Siphelele Mthembu, Tonny Mawejje and Stephan Loboue, as they look to climb up the PSL table.

The Turkish coach told the Siya crew that he was still unsure of which players were going to make the cut, explaining that he wants to give them all a chance. He said, “The team is very much ready, but I haven’t decided on a first 11 yet, there are some things we need to change or adjust, I want to give a fair chance to everyone, they can all play.”

He went on, “For me it is important that people find their own way, earn their place and work for each other, we have a nice combination. The players are excited to start and I’m very positive. The new guys have fitted in well and there’s a nice friendly atmosphere here.”

Ertugral’s men will start the second half of the season in 12th place on the log, five points ahead of bottom-placed Jomo Cosmos.

M very worried abt Arrows, this team is known for developing young hungry existing talent which usually benefits the whole country, if u look at siphesihle Ngobese, Lucky Sibeko, Khenyesa, The Zothwane bros,The Henyekane bros, Abia Nale,KG Dikgacui , Sangweni and more recently Thandoyise Khuboni jst to name a few and the team became succesful with this process of promoting talented youngsters . but nowaday they more content in buying rejects I wouldnt be suprised if they end up fighting for relegation this season.
