Ertugral Happy With Mashego

Golden Arrows coach, Muhsin Ertugral, has expressed his happiness with the way that his striker Katlego Mashego has started the new year.
There had been talk of a rift between the coach and the former Orlando Pirates man, with some reports claiming that Ertugral was less than impressed with the underperforming forward.
Ertugral rubbished reports of a falling-out, but did admit that he was hoping to see more from Mashego. The ex-SuperSport United man has now scored two goals in two games for Abafana Bes’thende and, even though he was sent off against his former team at the weekend, his coach has praised him.
The 52-year-old coach told the Siya crew, “It’s definitely more of what I wanted from him, Katlego is outstanding at the moment. His work rate is good and he’s playing well, he’s been outstanding, although the team as a whole is looking good.”
Mashego signed for the Durban-based side from Pirates at the beginning of the season as part of the deal that saw Siyabonga Sangweni go the other way and Arrows fans will now be keen to see him emulate the form that he has shown for his former clubs.
