Dolly, Jenniker Left At Home
20 November 2012
The Ajax Cape Town duo of Keagan Dolly and Aidan Jenniker have been left out of Jan Pruijn’s match day squad for tonight’s Absa Premiership clash with Wits, and have subsequently been told to train with the club’s SAFA Second Division side.
Dolly, 19, and Jenniker, 23, have apparently been given no reason for their exclusion from the squad and will instead have to make do with training in Cape town until their teammates return from their trip to Braamfontein.
Dolly, a former Mamelodi Sundowns winger, is yet to start a game for the Urban Warriors since Pruijn took over from Maarten Stekelenburg, while Jenniker started on the bench in the club’s last game, a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Black Leopards.
It was reported that Dolly had recently been involved in a training ground clash with Brazilian forward Wanderson and it could be due to that, that he has since been left out of the squad.
Ajax take on Wits as they look to grab only their third win of the season, and move away from the dreaded relegation zone.
