Chiefs Want Downs Game Postponed

Current PSL leaders, Kaizer Chiefs, have contacted the PSL in an attempt to have their Absa Premiership clash against Mamelodi Sundowns on February 12 postponed.
Chiefs have seven of their first team players included in Gordon Igesund’s Bafana Bafana squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, and face Sundowns just two days after the tournament comes to an end.
A high-ranking source at Naturena confirmed to the Siya crew that steps have been taken with regards to postponing the game and that the club are hoping that common sense will prevail.
The Amakhosi have more players in the Bafana side than any other team, yet have still been given their first league game so soon after the tournament ends, meaning that if South Africa do have a good tournament then they’re players will hardly get any form of break.
It seems that a letter has been sent to the PSL requesting the game's postponement, however it is thought that if it is agreed to, it will only happen if Bafana reach the semi-finals.

I have heard of this story before it's starting to become a song now from Chiefs, Any how looking it from a good point of view if ever BB do progress to a final or Semis that means a lil time for those boys to have a rest, any way football is their work so they just have to dig deep. Sky is the limit.

I think its a gud point dat if bafana reach d semis then d game must b postpone. If bafana bow out early there's no need. Its only make sense. Ppl who have play soccer they wil understand. KHOSÎ 4 LIFE!!!

Yes I like da decision dat the game will dpend on bafana reaching the semi final and dat won't hepen so for all those who say chiefs ar scred it really useless thinking how cn coach plan wthout his 7 players who ar always in d starting line up...ths hepend agaist wits and it had a nehative effect on dat game so also it would have bt I assure sundowns supporters dat da game will not change bcos bafana will b knocked out early
