Chenene Set To Join United
13 January 2013
Moroka Swallows midfielder Bennett Chenene has signed a pre-contract with SuperSport United, the club has confirmed to the Siya Crew.
Chenene's current contract runs until the end of the season, meaning that he will become a Matsatsantsa player as of July 2013.
The midfielder has been an influential player for the Dube Birds in recent seasons, assisting them to claim the MTN8 title this season - where he netted three times en route to the trophy.
Last season, he played in 23 games for the Birds where he scored four league goals and helped them finish as runners-up behind eventual winners Orlando Pirates.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic and Pirates man has continued to perform in the 2012/13 season with four league goals in just 15 games so far.

How can swallows lose such a player.since chenene joined them he has been in a good form en one would think swallows will do what they could do to make him stay.I know for sure it is about money en swallows have been known for short changing their players,At one point it was reported that Lungisani ndlela their ex player earned R4000 couple of years ago.Swallows will always be behind the soweto two because they don't want to keep their talent despite having a good sponsor in VW.
