Bester's Bucs Deal '90%' Done!

The Siya crew can confirm that Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United are in the final stages of negotiations for the transfer of striker Rudolph Bester!
Pirates thought they had signed Bester on a pre-contract earlier this year, believing the player to be a free agent at the end of the season.
In the latest issue of Soccer-Laduma, however, the Siya crew proved that Maritzburg has a two-year option to extend the player's contract, which they exercised before the end of his original deal.
Pirates have since decided to open up talks with the Team of Choice to secure the player's services and the two teams have reached an amicable agreement.
Pirates have agreed to swap midfielder Michael Morton and cash in exchange for Bester. Morton has yet to agree to the transfer, however, and if he doesn't come to the party the Buccaneers are set to buy Bester outright.
Maritzburg chairman Farook Kadodia confirmed that there’s a 90% chance of Bester moving to the Mayfair club. The deal is set to be completed shortly and Bester is still in Johannesburg hoping to finalise his move to the current PSL champions. Stay glued to Soccer-Laduma for more breaking news!
