Arrows & Keita Part Ways
28 January 2013
Golden Arrows have parted ways with Malian midfielder Souleymane Keita, after a tough start to his career in Durban.
The 26-year-old has struggled for form since joining Abafana Bes’thende during Muhsin Ertugral’s reign and was recently sidelined with an injury that ruled him out for a lengthy period of time.
It was recently reported that the journeyman midfielder had sought medical help outside of the club as he looked to get himself fit, however the Siya crew have now been informed that the parties have agreed to a mutual termination of his contract.
Meanwhile, the crew has also been informed that Arrows are set to send some of their youngsters out on loan in order for them to get first team football in a lower division, while former AmaZulu striker, Josef Lekata, has been asked to stop training with the club after failing to impress during his trial.
