AmaZulu Reshuffling The Squad
26 January 2012
News reaching the Siya crew is that Ntuthuko Dlamini is the latest player to be released from AmaZulu. The 25-year-old midfielder was handed his clearance after the Durban-based outfit failed to secure a loan move for him.
According to the player’s agent, Ali Tlhoaele, the Umlazi-born player is a free agent and is available to interested clubs.
“We reached an agreement with AmaZulu for the player to be released. He received a settlement and he is now free to join any team. He is a good player but he was just unfortunate at the club. His previous club, Nathi Lions, was reluctant on releasing him to AmaZulu because of how well he did for them during his time there,” said Tlhoaele.
Dlamini is the second player released by AmaZulu recently after the side gave Gavin Hammers his clearance. The club has also sent Bonginkosi Nxumalo to their KZN second division reserve league side Durban Warriors.
“Bonginkosi Nxumalo has been cleared to play for AmaZulu’s development team, Durban Warriors, until the end of the season. His performance will be reviewed in the new season. He will still be earning the same salary from AmaZulu’s first team,” explained Tlhoaele.
