Make Your Point

Hi Coach My name is Zizou Khoza with a warning, your job is in danger its just a matter of time before they let you go it is up to you to save it.
Lets start about the game against Ajax the team played very well but you relying too much to players that produce nothing, Nyandoro, Rodgers and Mabaso are your way out of the team, taking nothing away from them they are good players but not for Sundowns at the moment. Nyandoro is taking too long on the ball even when we suppose to counter attack he is going to lose the job for you. On the Ajax game RODGERS was disturbing every move and Mabaso is always playing too deep he does not give any attacking option I would prefer wandisile/mampuru. Laffour should’ve never been substituted he was good as a second striker as for Shongwe he is missing player in your starting line up lastly there are players that can score goals or you but are sitting at the stands, whatever you have against Nyatama and Henyekane solve it these boys can save your job.im not trying tell you how to do your job but to help save your job. One more last thing you made a mistake by saying your players cant play for Barcelona now you have to make the believe they are the best in the world. Wish you good luck
Mthombeni, Movement
With all the money Bobby spent on recruiting players,he forgot to make sure there's cover. The injuries have hit and Baxter needs to make do with what's there.Lawler and Isaacs would have helped in that shaky defence.Question is,was it a good idea to overall the defence?

I’m failing to understand some of Sylvester Referring analysing decisions as anybody can see, that Ball was way outside the field and the linesman was spot on,Mr Ndaba needs to go back to the refresher course if the is any in the Country and stop treating your linesman as fools or unprofessional . I’m can believe that the no such thing as bad referring but corruption is the only stumbling block in the beautiful game around the world e.g. A game between Manchester VS Chelsea.I wish South African Referees can learn from their mistake that costs so many teams.

I wrote this cordial letter with sadness on my face cause your club seem heading to dangerous direction. I'm afraid the harmonious foundation you have administered prior is in jeopardy.
I don't have much words for you, Mr Mpengesi except to caution you about unforeseen pessimism which may perceives calamity to you team 'Chippa's United'
The fraternity have spoken about the muddied the club is drowning in apparently. But, my opinion would be much more constructive because of enormous bond I share for your club despite disastrous spell in the League, prior. Mr Mpengesi, you don't need introduction to the beautiful game; the club duration to football game speaks volume - you have inspired vulnerable fraternity with your astonishing journey to where you're today. And, you brought enthusiastic to entire Cape Province(WP & EC) cause previously, we felt neglected but your emerges changed our perception. Your club ambition and bright vision possesses have lured our interest. Debacle started: But latest dubious decisions have deprive an enthusiastic the fraternity possesses. The turning point was when the boss took the decision to fire the coach that enhance the team to play in the League, though arguably experience was essential to uplift the team momentum then Manqoba acquisition was done. It took Manqoba two games on the reigns to depart the Chippa's team 'was fired' and the boss admitted that he orchestrated all dismissals(and adamant no interference). The latest coach to depart is Skhakane the one understood to be masterminded the club success, but the boss left him in the cold remorseless. All these ludicrous 'negligence' decisions have perceives the club languishing at the bottom of the Log.
Honestly, I don't want to see this team going back to dust, but urgent turnaround strategy could rescue the team. This eccentric ideology has perceives the predicament to the club cause it has led to catastrophic - I think Mr Mpengesi need to be grounded by people with immense football knowledge and are not interfere with the team ambitions. Mr Mpengesi desperation and interference has gone beyond team objectives - where there is no vision, the people perish hope Mr Mpengesi would understood that.

I just like to tell my fellow Downs supporters that this is a year of dryness in Chloorkop.I just saw the way our players present themselves in the field. There is lot in our team which have been hiden to us.If everything is ok so why Motsepe doesnt see anything bad with these two guyz Moloto & Makhanya. There is lot behind the scene in our team judging with our performance.Mayb Moloto & Makhanya have bought more shares then Motsepe now.Our players are very very poor & lazy recently. We bought more than two strikers during offseason but look we have score only 3 goals in 8 games. We made a lot of unnecessarily signings because of Moloto's greediness.I wish we may have Mphela in our first eleven for the game against AmaZulu. 4rm

Psl refs must apply all the basics laws of Fifa to make football interesting and fair.psl refrees are not protecting our players in the field and thats killing us because we are facing afcon and our top players are getting silly injuries.

I think Mr Ndaba got it absolutely wrong when he says should the free kick by Amazulu went inn the goal was not gonna count, with the amazulu player interfering with play, and the reff was gonna count it in & what was gonna be the reaction of pirates supporters & players? Something needs to be done with poor reffs & i wonder how many clubs will allow such stupid behaviour by reffs.

I couldn't believe my eyes when seeing EPL match between Chelsea & Man U. The referee's decisions were so pathetic. He failed to hide his love for United. The sending off of Chelsea's players and Chicharito's offside goal were (all) out of order. Goal-line tech won't work if referees continue spoiling the beautiful game.
Derrick "Obama" Khumalo, GP
I think Chiefs needs to add a striker that can score goals ,There is no enough compatition up front ,pls something needs to be done. They have yeye and shaba for ball distribution paker and Benny may be what they need ,Chiefs is drawing too much but half a loaf is better than no bread
Tuwani Thiathu From Phalama
chiefs's defence is valnereble, and the only way to protect it is to re-enforce the mid.players like Baloyi together with Letsholonyane must know what is coming as teams will throw everything in the defence to see whether they will cope or what.
Lazarus Mpofu, Ga-Mphahlele
kicking long balls worked for Maritzburg, and they pull a draw because of that,Doctor & Baxter should have re-inforce the midfield and makes sho Maritzburg don't put those balls in dangerous area like they did..u can't complain to opposition while that works for them..

Man U defenders a costing ateam an important win, jose mourihno now is tryng 2 revive kaka, he shuld grab these chance wth both hands
Letter via Mxit
Arsenal are Fully prepared for the ManU clash coming up they were spotted training with 9-men and Arsene Wenger acting as a ref swearing and insulting them. also went through a drill where they were NOT allowed to wobble/stagger or show any discomfort despite a fallen tree obstructing their way! lastly they had some fans sneaking from behind the goals to ‘steal’ the ball and the defenders were still expected to be the last man!
Now that is called covering your bases!

Please, I fervently urge you to please publish this note and forward it to the likes of Sylvester Ndaba and PSL officials. South African soccer is not being played in a vacuum. This code is now engulfed with hooliganism, unfair practices by officials etc because of lack of stringent rules and principles. There are rules and regulations that should regulate this sporting code. Seeing that it is played in South Africa, those rules and regulations should and must be the microcosm of the rule of law of the country or rather the greater Constitutionalism in our country. This is because soccer is a contact sport and it deals with human kind which are protected by the South African constitution. We need to be proactive here and not wait until something big strikes. In our country we say that the punishment of any offense should be proportional to the offence caused. I will not dwell too much on that. To these players, soccer is their bread and butter and so if someone confiscate it in any manner, he is trampling or denying not only that player but his entire family and all those who depend on him for survival basic needs. in the scenario of Jimmy Jambo and Nengomasha, Nengomasha committed an offence and the referee acknowledged the offence and only gave him a red card. He is going to play again after two or three matches whilst Jambo will play after months and months and he had to pay for the hospital bills and after hospitalization, his diet must change to accommodate his injury etc. because Nengomasha is not punished, he can do the same thing to another player and another and another. Jambo’s team is going to pay his salary whilst he will not be adding any value to the team. My point is that, there are a lot of people affected by the unfair play Nengomasha and the flexible regulations. Where is proportionality in the offence and punishment. I therefore move on with the notion that such offenders are spoiling the sporting code and are not needed. They should be kept at bay till that injured player gets back to the field of play especially if fracture is involved. The offender should be accountable for all the costs incurred during the injury of the other player. I call on for proportionality in the punishment and the offence caused.

You guys have interviewed a lot of soccer people but there r these guys you haven't interviewed, it would be interesting if you guys can interview retired referees and ask them which team they support and if they have been biased towards their favourite teams or not,and what are they up to these days plus what do they think of today's standard of refereeing.
flipj09
What you guys at Soccer-Laduma are doing is not good for our national team coach. It looks like you are fast becoming agents to every South African player playing overseas. Forcing players down Igesund's throat because they are playing overseas is not Ayoba. You may mean well but you are putting the guy under pressure while confusing him in the process. Please back-off and let the guy do his job. Rob Moore alone is enough.
Lulama Nqeketho, Delft, CT
Irvin Khoza will continue to waste money if he doesn't start consulting his coaches with regards to signing players. The majority of players signed in this past transfer window isn't playing. Some of them are considering loan deals.Khoza get your house in order if winning means anything to you

When we speak of a team player we talking of andile "lion king" jali, the bboy pulled himself against Celtics while he was clearly limping and his ankle was twisted but he manage to soldier on and even went to took the first penalty limping n I would like to thank you Gattuso for all you've done for us as Ghost family, as for Ndumiso Mabena I do not want to see you ever playing for pirates , and were I thought I was learning to tolerate your weaknesses as a player you just made things worse against Celtics and you will come and say " when fans boo me they make me strong" nx strong my foot how did u even make it professionally? I know better players in Soweto who can do a bettter job sies you are a disgrace and to RDS continue playing him you'll find yourself caoching Chippa utd.

This is an open piece of article written by a very concerned, angry and above all irritated Orlando pirates fan of all times who have previously endured all sort of football torture in form of defeats inflicted by other teams to pirates but the defeat against Celtic last Sunday is still fresh at the back of my head and I have few requests to you, 1 can we not see Ndumiso Mabena partaking any role in our team, how do u miss an opportunity like that in a cup game and we do not even want to see him in the 18 man squad. 2. Can you please give Mayambela a chance we didn't buy him for friendlies and if clowns like mabena can be given a run so as mayambela. 3. Okonkwo is the starting eleven material. 4 Can you please rest Myeni because now his too comfortable and lack hunger to compete since he appears to be unduly favored by you. Hope to see this recommendations being implemented soon .

Another poor performance by Orlando Pirates. They almost had the game in the bag but let it slip at the last minute. It just shows that Roger needs to try other combinations because he doesn't have a team to challenge for honours.

You cannot use Manyisa, Jali and Masalesa at the same time. RDS wants to defend too much when we have attacking players who can do the job for us.

I read with sheer embarrassment and disappointment the reports by a newspaper that read “igusand to meet pienaar”. That really shook me from head to toe , I couldn’t hide the anger boiling inside me. Mr. Coach was coming very nicely and the future is highly promising but he is making more enemies than friends around football circles.
South Africa is overpopulated with over 50million people and we still try to negotiate players into playing for our national pride? It happened with a certain goalkeeper and we understood now it’s a player that made it clear he is tired. Well I wouldn’t really blame Mr. Pienaar for his change of heart, maybe he is tired so why try to play fatigued players when we have over 10 thousand players in the psl alone. what happens to the morale of our youngsters when such decisions are made?
The said player was given a platform to shine by the very same country he s shunning, he was made eligible to play in the bacclays league because we gave him a chance to play all the required games now all is well in the queen’s country and we are all of a sudden a burden to his schedule. let’s not dampen the spirits of our young up and coming players by begging players who don’t want to play for us. We have adequate players who are eager to play for this nation, give them a chance like we afforded the now rich hotheads. It’s better to lose games with players who want to play than win with those that we have to pamper to don our jersey.

Pain is what we feel at the moment after our disastrous loss at the hands of Celtic! Luckily we know how to control our anger no matter the situation or the results. We are now down to two after losing out on both the MTN8 and the TKO. The players let us down with their lack of consistency. Now we’re everybody’s laughing stock.

Please forward this open letter to Marks Maponyane (commentator) When Orlando Pirates were 3 – 1 up against Bloemfontein Celtics yesterday
with 2 minutes to play Marks Maponyane (commentator) said no way Celtic can come back into this game celtic must plan for next game.

The standard of refereeing in the PSL is below par. In a match between Celtic and Pirates the man in the middle denied Celtic a legitimate penalty after a Pirates player handled the ball in the 18 area. He later remedied this by awarding Celtic a penalty for a foul commtted on the edge of the 18 area. At some stage he would wave play on in a situation where he should have cautioned a player and suddenly order a free kick. You don't expect this in a professional league.
Setlaboswana Edwin Malatjie
Players attitude was critical in getting us trebles. Our mental strength produced fighting spirit that saw us reversing possible losses to victories that ultimately led to trebles. We seem to have let go of our great weapon. We lost & drew games we should have won this season due to our negative attitude. Games against Swallows, Amazulu, Celtic would have different results had our attitude been what I saw in the last 2 seasons. Players are too casual nowadays. How can we let go of our great weapon, our fighting spirit. They say attitude determines ones altitude. Celtic gave us a taste of our medicine. We simply should have severely punished Celtic when we had chances to but decided otherwise. At 3-1, with few chances to kill the game but were casual instead of being ruthless & paid severely for that. Congratulations to Celtic for their fighting spirit. I blame players not the coach.
Liesbeeck
what made celtics victory sweet is that, when Pirates score the 3rd goal they did think that they have score the insurence goal as the sabc commentaters, were saying words like the insurance goal,i'ts over, celtic must wait for the next fixture, there is no way they can come back...they made me miss the funny side of the game.
Laz Mpofu
As long as Pirates supporters, the media and Dr. Khoza keep saying Josephs, Manyisa and McCarthy should play for Bafana, we won’t pass the group stage for AFCON let alone winning it. This players are below average Josephs is not good enough to carry Khune’s left glove and Benni has pass his prime. Most Pirates supporters forget that when Bafana won the AFCOn 16 years ago, they had a core of top players irrespective which teams they come from, not any dead wood from Bucs.
Bonginkosi Ngema, Durban
After leading 3-1 with injury time remaining against Celtics in their Telkom KO game,Pirates thought the game was in the bag & our defence went to sleep. We paid a heavy price.Players should learn that a game is not won until the man in the middle blows his final whistle.Credit to Celtics for their fighting spirit. We have no one to blame but ourselves.
Bongani Mgubela,Diepkloof
Bloemfontein Celtic supporters must buy AFCON tickets in their number. They can help to boost the moral of our national team in their campaign. They will be a good face and advert for our football.Look what Celtic has done to Bucs. It's like a chicken and egg question, what came first. Are Celtic players good because of their supporters or are Celtic supporters good because of their players? This is what is meant to support a team.

It is sad to watch our beloved team perform so dismally against a poor Celtic team. For the past three seasons, we’ve been known for our never say die attitude, winning games through last minutes goals. Our players have been a passionate bunch, with great TEAM spirit. What I’m seeing these days is what I saw at the beginning of the season under Palacios. The players do not seem prepared to die for one another and the team. I don’t have to tell what happened to Njenje subsequently. Roger De Sa, stop favouritism in team selection and your players will play for you and as a team. In the last two games, Vierra has been poor, but he kept his place ahead of the tried and tested Ntshumayelo and, or Okonkwo. Myeni is not irreplaceable too. The dream of a third treble is gone; I hope we can get at least the double. UP THE BUCS

Congratulation to Celtic for knocking Pirates out of the TKO .I didn't have a chance to watch the game but I saw highlights and Pirates could have won that game .They had all the time in the world to score even more than three goals .The only thing that I think killed them was complacency , when they were leading 3-1 some of their players started to relax .But having said that sometimes in football you need a little bit of luck because Celtic awarded penalty which it wasn't a penalty and their third goal which is the equalising goal was scored in the 95 minutes but only 4 minutes was added .During penalty shoot out Manyisa's penalty was supposed to be retaken because Celtic goalkeeper moved early out of his line . All in all well done Celtic as they say in football you creates your own luck and Celtic did exactly and they were rewarded in the end
Mzwandile Mpisi of Izingolweni
RDS has failed Bucs. How does he keep Myeni even when his perfomance is below par? No reasons for lame excuses because of the quality the team posses. Tlou Segolela can't be on the bench if one wants to win a game. Favouritism will cost RDS his job.
Malefetsane Letsitsi
Bloemfontein Celtics have achieved yet another milestone in their backyard, which saw them turning it into a fortress in their quest for glory. It was a game filled with a mixed bag of results, alas, Phunya selesele annihilated the sea robbers. Larsen does have the ammunition in his arsenal to aid the team annex this coveted TKO-cup. However, the same can not be said for the beleaguered Roger de sa, who find the going get tougher at the helm of the sea robbers. Their quest to defend the unprecedented double treble have seemingly came to an abrupt end and their aspirations vanished into thin air.

What a fighting spirit by Bloem Celtic. Well done Bloem Celtic for beating Pirates at Free State Stadium again. It is a bitter pill to Swallow for Pirates because they had opportunities to finish off the game when Celtic was down. I don’t see Pirates winning anything this season.

I knew Wits will go nowhere after that Last 16 win from overplayed & tired Chiefs players. It was Free States weekend. What a game on Sunday, Celtics comeback from 3-1 down. They showed Pirates that they can come back too by doing what they usualy do, not with one but two lovely two goals. Semis is Pretoria vs Free State. Goodluck 2 All of them.

We Mabhakaneers cannot afford to witness stupid coaching day in day out after we have been so happy people during Mr. Krol. How on earth can you replace Mbesuma with Mabena while you have the option of Mbuyane and Chinyama to can do the job? I've always been saying Mabena is not a Pirates material but seems he is a favourite of Tebogo Moloi hence enforced on every coach coming to the team. The contribution of Mbuyane towards us winning 2 trebles cannot be questioned while Mabenas is non-existent but the technical team cannot see that, unless if they have their personal agendas to destabilise the team. I have nothing against Mabena as a player but just putting a fact here that he is not a Pirates material. The replacement of Mbesuma gave Celtic much freedom at the back as only Segolela was giving them hard time with Mabena running around with no direction and they had to add more numbers in the midfield to compliment their attack. Coach De Sa Must also explain to us why he keeps on playing with 3 defensive midfielders? De Sa and his technical staff must know that the only thing to keep them in the team is for them to win us the remaining 2 trophies, period. We can't loose our treble so cheaply.
Maurice Sekgogoba, Riba Cross, Burgersfort
It is true when they say "its not over until the fat lady sings" Welldone Celtic u fighted till the last weasel.
Danger Kgampe, Germiston
Pirates' dominance has reached a cul-de-sac and this could be attributed to Benni's absence from the team. His contribution is tangible seen and no-one in the current line-up can equal his massive presence. Its only a matter of going back to the drawing board and suffice to allude the fact that Roger is finding it hard to get the team going since taking charge, with his indifferent results.
Loward Ziga-Khosa, Nkuri-Tomu
I would like to voice my dismay at a very disgusting display done by Bucs against Celtics. Winning, losing and a draw is indeed part of the game. But what I witnessed on Sunday by my Bucs was so pathetic and the sooner I forget about it, the better for me. I can’t blame the couch because he doesn’t play himself but the players. We as Bucs fan, do not derserve this input from Bucs players. Are we still Champs? Lets play like one then. Thanks to you Bucs for ruining my girlfriend’s birthday!!!

RDS there's only one thing you don't need, and it will happen, us on your back, ask Leal. If you can't see a way forward let the Iron Duke know before it's too late. Where is Jele, why aren't you playing Takesure. Why aren't you playing the Treble winning players? Never it has happened before that Bucs lead by 2 goals and go on to lose the game. I like the way how Clinton Larson conduct himself during media interviews, esp after the Bucs game (TKO). When asked about his team's fighting spirit, he gave credit to his players & technical staff (teamwork). That's professionalism cos it (comments) doesn't put him under pressure even if his team loses. Keep it up Larson! Yes "we" can!

Watching Celtics coming and getting a win against Pirates was just a shock. The character shown by Siwelele was fascinating. I wish them goodluck in the semis

The good thing out of the Pirates Celtic match was the goals which brought exitement and enziaty, but if pirates plays this way we are going to wait another ten years for a silverware, why our coach is playing three defensive midfielders? is he pleasing certain players? his approach is limiting our mobility upfront. i am really concerned and worried.
Smanga Khalishwayo eDumbe
Pls Dr khoza i'm begging you to bring back Ruud krol bcoz De sa he's seems clueles and he don't even have plan B.His favouritism is costing the team however, he's the reason we knocked out of TKO.The fighting spirit, pace, confidence is nomore.Where're those days where we use to break hearts of opponents in the dying minutes? Nomore treble champs!
Is it mean pirates is finish? We need Jele,Benni etc..

I still believe that RDS is the right man for bucs. However his support among bucs faithful may decrease because of his preference for former Wits players and may also kill the team spirit,I dont think their inclusion is on merit.Myeni is Pirates's Messi now,the coach likes him.Giving Masalesa the responsibility of running the bucs midlefield at the expense of the likes of Tico and Bibo its a shame.RDS must make stop it early for the benefit of bucs.If the rumours that Chapman is coming true, then thats dissapointing.A good coach works with the players he find on a new team, not bring along his former players.RDS must be careful,Pirates job is nie pap en vleis,u are under scrutiny all the time.Where is Jele?his position is uncontested.
Mashishi Maurice,gaMatlala.
If any pirates fans feel like point fingers for their exit then they should direct it at the players, how on earth do you teach the so called treble champions to defend a lead_what happened to the old pirates that always fought till the referee blows the final whistles?
Kenny ramakgolo, Polokwane
Im still wondering what does De Sa archieve to deserve Pirates coaching job? Bucs will not defend a single cup while he still at the helm. His addiction to Myeni even when he is out of form will cost him a job.
Robbie Mahanci, Hasani Dakarhi
I would really want to stress that referees do spoil the game of soccer Chelsea vs Man utd and now it is Pirates Vs Celtic.Petrick was way out of the line and the equalising goal for celtic it was on the 94th minutes are officials going to learn that they spoil the game?

Watching Celtic defeating Rats again for the second time it waz great, i mean from 1-3 down to 3 all waz a good thing. The cups are slowly deserting the sea roberts again as usually. The treble Pirates thought they gone win this season, waz doomed by Celtic. Khosi till Pirates beat Celtic at FS stadium!

Pirates, psl and wits murdered my beloved kaizer chiefs in the telkom knockout. Atleast I'm happy now that psl chairman & and his bones were caught in free state by larsen, solomons and celtic boys. When larsen interrogate chairman he says ' he dreamt the cheque was going to naturena and that's why he didn't change k. Chiefs game. He sends the apology to all k. Chiefs family'.
p.mxhuma
Yah neh? Well, congratulations to Celtic for beating my team on Sunday. I think both teams played well but it was a matter of who was lucky at the end of the day and I guess they were the lucky team on the day. Our players should blame themselves for failing to take charge of the situation. We can't blame the coach on those school-boy errors. The less said about the ref the better. Up the Bucs!
Wylo Allabi, Hambanathi, Tongaat
I wish to invite all the heartbroken Sundowns and Orlando Pirates fans to come join the Hollard Insurance. These teams performances cannot be trusted!
S.STOKWE
Thanx you Siwelele for blakseming Pirates, I m happy that we both out...
What a display of footbal..
Xolani Twana, Khayelitsha-Cape Town
What a sublime goal Suarez scored against Newcastle. There's no replacement for hard work regardless how talented an individual is. A whole lot can be achieved through hardwork. We can be smart and all, however our talents would just be that-unfullfilled potential.Aburdence and opportunities are borne out of hardwork

Mr Editor,i'm a Kaizer Chiefs supporter but i just wanna praise the way Celtic and Pirates play over the past weekend, those two teaems played excellent football on the day.We as fans we've been crying for the lack of goals but on sunday the two teams gave us a very exciting game of football.People accuse Pirates of giving away the game they should have won,but i tend to differ, instead we should give credit to Celtic for their spactacular comeback.Their never say die attitude was marvellous onthe day.Well done guys you deserve that victory.
Albert khutshwa,in samora machel(c/town)
As much as it is said to see big teams like Chiefs and Pirates exiting the cup competition like Telkom Knockout but I believe its is good for SA football. We need strong sixteen teams to compete in an umpredictable league. What is happening in Spain is a disgrace that La Liga is a two team affair and others are just adding numbers. The way Celtic played on Sunday I wish they can go all the way and win this cup. They deserve it and their supporters deserve it more. It is a disgrace that a big team like Pirates failed to protect their two goal lead in the added-on-time as it was the case with Chiefs who failed to protect their lead against Maritzburg United.
Siyabonga Zondi, Braamfontein
Hi dear editor I'm glad to inform you about resolution that we took as gauteng province mamelodi sundown's supporters that we will boycott each n every event and games until MR patrice Motsepe meet our demands our current management is disrespecting us.
Tsepeditsaka
Mabena, where do you come from? Our defence let Celtic back in the game and you also let us down by giving the ball to the keeper instead of passing it into an open net, which would have sealed the game for us. We always give Mayambela grief and I hope you suffer the same feat as him by not featuring anymore. The one things that ticks us off as Pirates supporters is that the cog of our DTC team has been absent since the arrival of RDS, he turned some of our stalwarts into peripheral players and replaced them with the guys from Wits who have no treble experience. Celtics did to us what we have been doing to other teams, scoring at the death. However, all is not lost and I hope the new guys will be relishing the prospect of making us the TTC by claiming the League, Nedbank Cup and Champs league in that order.
Paballo Lefakane, Meadowlands Soweto
I am a very disappointed supporter by Roger de Sa favouratisism the sooner he realize that the better. Roger de Sa you must know that this is not Wits its Pirates otherwise you will have to leave our peaceful club and go some where why on earth you replace an effective player Daine Klate leave your Sifiso Myeni(your son) who was useless for the duration of the game and that led to our exit you costs us the cup bigtime you must be ashamed 3-1 up and loose the match embarrassing sis.
Phumezile Gaxela, Kuilsriver,Cape Town
Since the arrival of RDS Pirates is playing a boring football. A Celtic game should have been won. Yes the referee gave them a dubious penalty but we can't use that as an excuse.
Malefetsane Letsitsi
i am a die hard chiefs fan but wht a game we witnessed at free state stadium that was one heck of a game and cograts to celtic for a great come back and op played very well bt it wasn't 2 be hard luck guys.
Boogybear
Thanks to Siwelele for bringing high flying Bucs down to mother earth. Are they still going to achieve the triple? Hell no,may be the double is still achievable but I seriously doubt that.
Mandisi Zulu,Tehuis,Umlazi
the game was for us to take but no andile jali and mabena had other ideas. mabena hs a tendency of missing dificult goals to miss time and again, yet he alwys get de nod ahead of ndulula and chinyama. jali and hs stupid time delay tacticts must be fined by pirates now we have lost another cup, roger de sa stop your fielding players coz they r ur frnds lyk myeni. u took klate out who ws puting pressure instead of myeni.
Pennethwell Ntokozo Dhlamini
Since their arrival Roger Da Sa and his assistant Tinkler have been nothing but glorified spectators, while the rot has continued at Pirates. The dreary performances dating back to Palacious reign are here to stay. Favouritism has continued unabated. You count in one hand how many effective passes Matlaba, Myeni, Jali, Klate, Manyisa make in any particular game yet nothing is done either to rectify the situation or bench them for better players. It is expected of players like Tlou and Mabena to deliver 5-star performances when they know exactly that if they don’t play the last 10minutes, they are the targets for early substitution regardless of their performance. People are not fooled by the goals scored this past weekend by Klate, Matlabla and Manyisa, all of them brilliant individual efforts, but that’s just it…”individual efforts”. Pirates players have been playing individuals a long time now. It explains why such a wonderful runner off the ball in Mbesuma struggles to get passes at Pirates. Roger De Sa is confirming that he is a small time coach, without any cognisable coaching philosophy and who will be able to make a step up to coach at the level expected in a team like Pirates. With Roger Africa is a bridge to far. As they say our glory days are finally behind us.
Khotso Modise
Well it is very hard to accept that my beloved Bucs will not be celebrating another treble come May next year, and it is thanks to the misfiring Ndumiso Mabena. I know we lose and win as a team but our players must shoulder some blame in certain instances. I just cannot understand how such a great team that is blessed with quality players all round could struggle to beat this Celtic team that does not even have a regular Bafana player. I mean not so long ago we lost narrowly to them in Bloem when Bacela scored a late goal. Now they scored two late goals to force the game into extra time and then penalties. At 3-1 with a minute left in regulation time I thought we were home and dry. But we somehow allowed them back in the game and we were duly punished in the penalty kicks. We never learn. Can we now please redeem ourselves by beating Sundowns tonight? All the best guys.

Without no fear or favour, let me start by saying I’m an Orlando Pirates supporter,on TKO QT finals vs Celtics. 1. I’m struggling to understand RDS’s analysis of the game and player performance-Daine Klate was very instrumental in the game, what was his decision criteria on subbing him for Tlou Segolela and leaving non effective Myeni to play 120 min, for the past 3-5 games Sfiso has been having poor performances as for how is he still finishing games without giving defenders a hard time is beyond me let alone being on the starting line-up, Bester can do better than him. 2. There are certain prerequisites are that are required to be a striker, a player must be able to shoot, header, finish and think, Ndumiso Mabena has none of those attributes, work rate don’t mean anything in soccer, one doesn’t need to run around the pitch ALL DAY 1st to score just 1 chance and burry the balls, he lacks all these attributes as for why RDS prefers him over other players (Ndulula, Mbuyani) is unthinkable. 3. I understand RDS admires Mbesuma’s hard work at and dedication at training we do too, but I’d like to know why he plays him as a lone striker when he has no pace, no stamina, no agility to pull something by himself, this formation is killing our team. 4. I’ve always known but for the 1st time I’ll admit this in public that. Joseph’s shouldn’t have come outta retirement for national duty, Khune will be number 1 until he retires why? Simply because he is better than him, Slim Kat lacks a few basics required for a goal keeper, he can’t collect (catch) arial balls, crosses he always punches which gives 2nd chance at offence, unfortunately it cost us a match vs Celtics, we have good defence but William Okpara needs to address his issue train him, also on corner kicks, he doesn’t deploy a man on the 1st and last pole they just play man to man, also a problem they need to look in to.
Treble slipping away. I still say up the Bucs with my arms crossed up in the air, Since 1937.

If Patrice Motsepe doesnt try to come with a plan to save his club from going down the fans will cause havoc at the Stadias. I dont support Downs but i support football and it will be a great loss to loose Sundowns to First Division. I fear the club is going down and down there. How could they fail to score goals while they have bunch of quality strikers. The coach is not fielding the best line up. Johan Neeskeens must leave the job or be fired. Ben Monyeki form Lephalale

Kaizer Chiefd will win the psl title if they utilise all the chances they creat in all their games. Kaizer Chiefs players can create more scoring chances and they play entertaining football that all supporters of SA football enjoy which is very good for the National Team. But they need a cover in the holding midfield role. We need a strong man to marshal the midfield while Yeye will be passing the strikers to score goals and win Top Scorer awards. i was very annoyed with the commentary of one Owen Ndlovu, the guy is gud for soccer zone to give those zulu jiggles, but to give him the whole ninety minutes of a cup game is treacherous from SABC.This guy says FS,SUNDOWS and SUPERSPORT have already progressed to the semis and are waiting for OP to make the final cut,how do you make such a blatant and totally biased comment in the first five minutes of the game.SABC its tome you recruited talent.
