Now that khoza has signed myeni and he now belong to bucs, can they please help him with new set of front teeth? The guy looks terrible! Anyways, congrats Mr sfiso "vampire" myeni.

I'd like to advise Skhesheshe Mkhonza to organise at least four friendly matches for our girls (Banyana Banyana) before they jet off to the London Olympics. We're behind the team and I'm already having Mpumi Nyandeni's replica jersey for my wife. Please let's all support the girls. Awe Banyana Banyana awe!
Derrick "Obama" Khumalo, GP
Siyanda Xulu is 1 of the best defenders in the country. His report from Arsenal looked good. If he was from Ghana, Ivory Coast or Nigeria he' would had sign for arsenal. Never mind the permit because they also mentioned it on the report. Most countries are all aware of south african players that they don’t work hard. how many south african international players who has been rejected by mirror teams in europe. shabba, gould, mphela are 1 of those players. siyanda xulu went to big teams there, without international experience and he did ok. It’s just that people were starting to say he's overrated.

It seems readers are quick to pen down anything that comes to their minds without researching. In response to Alonso's letter (SL Feb 8, 2012), the EPL has stripped Terry of his captaincy arm band. That's the bit they could do since the matter has come before the courts. As a result of their decision, the national coach has resigned probably in protest. What more does Alonso expect the EPL to do. You bet for nothing Alonso. The Ferdinand brothers will never retire from international soccer as a result of this.

What a super Wednesday for all football lovers. Firstly it was our neighbours, Zambia, who are making us proud while some of us we already write them off. And our second game it was the Ivorians and Malians, I didn’t even want to shift my eyes on a screen cause of the pace of the game, while a middle man who was controlling a game it was our best referee in Mzansi Daniel Bennet, thanks man for keeping that flag up. Being a man in the middle of a semi-final of AFCON is a big achievement in your life.
Trust Thips, Jane-Furse
I salute the mighty zambia, it is not about big name players, huge salaries or fancy countries
It’s about respect, unity and love for one another. Team=together each achieves more. Be the
Special part of the group. You have proven that it was no fluke qualifying for this competition. All the teams deserve to be in the tournament, even if the so called powerhouses were here i still belief you will still be in the final. I have always admired king kalusha and i know he contributed hugely in your journey. Bafana disappointed me but the fact that you represent the southern region made me support you from the beginning of this tourney. Now Drogba will ask who this Mwenee is where is he playing. The answer will be nice and sweat…South Africa. I hope our boys are watching and learning.
Keemenao Sechele, Dabizta
Chipolopolo have made Africans of the South real proud, Afcon has not lived-up to the expectations but Zambia have been amazing. No gladiators bt absolute sheer brilliance ol round, M so proud of ths guys. I hope and trust other nations of Mzantsi are watching!
Mcdo Nald
I'm not plead by the pace and passion of the Afcon 2012. I think players are focusing on club level than their national teams. If they play like this in SOUTH AFRICA, definitely our team will do well. I was expecting a better display on teams like Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Tunisia knowing that next Afcon Cameron, Nigeria, South Africa, Morocco and Egypt will be well prepared and show the continent that they are African giants as well.
Tembayena Terah Maqepula, eMgezwa, Lusikisiki
Congratulations are in order to Chipolopolo. they proved once again that under-dogs can bite. Zambia have a good team and to King Kalu you're the best football administrator in Africa. As for Gyan, you're a curse when it come to penalties. Zambia will become the kings of Africa.
Mabusela Michael
I just feel that the column by Doc Khumalo be given to a Kaizer Chiefs player. Doc is not addressing us about the happenings inside the club, which is what we interested so much in. The column is so full of Afcon than Kaizer Chiefs. What do you think guys?
Ckobonga
The way Zambia is playing. It’s just that they have depth not big names everybody is fighting for his country, I like their team spirit, game approach and how they lift each other up. Tribute to your fallen soldiers and I wish isaac chansa a great final came up with that experience to bucs. Once a chipolopolo always a pirate.
Collen Lekaba, Dinokana
I wish our own Bafana Bafana can learn from Ivorian Team. In P.E this team engaged with their Supporters the same way they did after the game against Mali. Our boys just stood by the centre line on that game in P.E. Grow up S.A
stokwes33
The power does not work against skill. In power you put your body as the weapon but in skill there is a lot of brain work. I was expecting that against Ghana as Zambia did it against Senegal. Zambian team consist of South African based players than their counterparts who have players in big leagues in Europe. To be honest Zambian players are used in South African style of play and they are applying it in Afcon without fear of favour. I'm real proud to see that players who are plying their trade in the PSL are doing well in their national teams. Well done Chipolopolo, you are making the southern hemisphere proud.
Tembayena Terah Maqepula, eMgezwa, Lusikisiki
If Screamer, who wrote to you last week think that we must be fine because Nigeria, Cameroon etc didn't qualify then he is wrong. When the team don't produce the expected results the heads must roll starting from the coach and his technical team. This has got nothing to do with being a Chiefs or Pirates fan we support Bafana here. We must stop comparing ourselves with Nigeria and Cameron. I'm not sure when he says these countries have no problem for not qualifying
Bulelani Nkumanda
The only reason our national teams are falling is not the lack of talent. We keep saying the players aren't developed enough. We've got developed players who deserve to play for Bafana but don't get recognition. National team coaches must call up deserving players and they'll reap the rewards.
Thulang Mariti
The current crop of BB players might hate it but we will forever remember the class of '96 because current crop for them playing against Drogba, Toure bros is dream come true and they play for themselves, or market to go play in some lower division league in Europe, Tshabalala, Khune, Modise just to mention few will go down in history of South Africa as the best players who never traded their talent in Europe against the best
Tebogo Setlhabi
The underdogs have done it against Ghana. Congratulations to Zambia for reaching the final of the Afcon. Keep it up and win it for the fallen heroes. Just one more huddle and the cup is in your hands. We're behind you all the way guys.
Maria Mariti
I welcome you Buccaneer Myeni and please let those who against your move eat humble pie through hard work and dedication. Happy Buccanner for life.
Nkosinati Tandayo
Hey to all soccer loving people and hey to the yellow nation. Catch us if you can.
Mxolisi, Mhlonishwa
The injury to Reneilwe Letsholonyane may be a blow to Kaizer Chiefs but a blessing for the other central midfielders. Guys like Lucky Baloyi, Mthokozisi Yende and Willard Katsande should pull up their socks if they're interested in regular game time. They can give Vermezovic a different dimension and more options in that role.
Maria Mariti
It’s good to see Zambians made it to the final. They surprised Africa a lot didn't expect exclusive football they displayed. I wish them to taste the victory!
David Molorwe Rustenburg
Technicalities will always be here, so let’s stop making all excuses for the National team. There is no other coach in South Africa who's been afforded this much chance to turn things around in the National team, I say 'Let Pitso Go' he's finished with no Plan B.
Linda Mkhungo
I support the idea because the current name sounds too inferior & unappealing to both sponsors and fans. However, clubs need to brand themselves as well by introducing professional setups and also identify with communities than play everywhere. Furthermore club names must be marketable than to use names such as Vasco da Gama, Blackburn Rovers etc, Dumisane Ncedani and colleagues please do the right thing. People of Bufalo city need their own team Craig

Honestly speaking Doctor Khumalo is starting to behave like a bitter ex-player for real. I mean every time I read his column he is busy complaining and whining about other people's business. Come on man!
drogba170
Wow they don't call it Orange African Cup of Nations for nothing, teams that are wearing orange colours are in the finals...Thanks to Zambia for representing southern African countries.
Dobs Khoza
As a sundowns die hard supporter, I am pleading with you to hear our concern regarding our General manager (Mr Makhanya), Could you please save our team from yet another cup less season and He is the reason for this mess. He is running this club like a spaza shop, since He took over ,we have never won anything in other words He has brought nothing but the draught in this club the sooner he is relieve of his duty the better. Let me remind you that nobody is bigger than the club.
Concern supporter Nelisa Kefile
I am a big chiefs fan but I am so disappointed about how are they doing things in this season the window is now closed but we didn't have any replacement for the likes of Musona, Nahayo and now Yeye is injured and it’s very difficult to think who is going to replace him. I am so unhappy of the squared we have this season but we will see.
Luthando Dlamini, eMzimkulu Lourdes
Please Pitso stop to change your squad every week. That’s why bafana is so poor. Look at other countries they don’t change their squad every game...well done chipolopolo we are proud of you.
David Gabaza
let me take this opportunity to salute the new kings of Africa. From nobody to somebody. They proved to the continent that its not all in the resources you have but the commitment you show. I salute the young lions of Chipolopolo. Hope you’re all resourced and so called big stars neighbours will learn a lot from u. We salute u, King Kalusha, Katongo, Chansa.
Zambia showed the whole Africa why they deserve the title, it’s a finale to remember the African football is developing every year.
Letter via Mxit
Listening to two SAFA. Members implicated on match fixing scandal pointing fingers to one another on National Radio station. Mbalula must wait for FIFA Final report and fire these Clowns. They have embarassed us enough.
madoda13
Who could've thought what we witnessed on Sunday night, Zambia showed they are true southern african warriors by lifting the AFCON trophy. well done guys u deserve it by ur fighting spirit, U downed da so called african giants.
Desmond chabalala @ nkomo village
Etugral and Leal were you watching, when your boys were flying the PSL flag sky high? It never crossed my mind that Zambia would participate in the final. Where's Bafanafana? When are they going to wake up?
Siyabonga Nkalambela Delft
Congratulation to Zambia they showed, hardwork, determination and courage pays off, names and favourite tag won't win you anything. Ivory Coast are chockers.
Mabusela Michael, Soweto DK
Congrats to Zambia for showing good account of Southern African Football. Lots of character showed on fighting off the Elephants Sudden Death Penalties. You were bound to WIN!!!
Sim Stokwe, Cape Town
I’m a faithful yet grieving Khosi supporter. Many teams are bolstering their squads and my Khosi is busy recruiting valueless Zimbabweans and other unknown boys from anywhere. For goodness sake! Amakhosi is a one of the biggest teams in Mzansi with a massive support but despite that the management can't even get the kind of players who complement that kind of situation. Where's Gould, Mathoho, Isaacs (Erwin) where's Sangweni now? I mean where are the players other than Renielwe, Khune and Shabba who are supposed to be in this big team which should be star studded. Why are our grievances not attended to (sic) why are we always laughing stocks to the other fans of Pirates and Downs. When are we really going to be taken seriously? I’m asking who by the way? Am I asking the same guy who told us that he wasn’t elected to be there by us. It’s sad, it pains our hearts. I guess we fans are too loyal. Can I ask you now, for how long are we going to be taken for granted? It’s very sad to be an Amakhosi fan this days!
ntini41
FIFA staff that includes Sepp blatter, Jerome Valcke they are processing a rule or principle of adding one more substitute to 4 each team because of uncertain injuries that lead to teams losing their control. So football fans, the rule is on its way to be established. I also want to pay tribute to Ghana player Annah who lost his mother decided to continue with the squad. He showed a good sense of patriotism.
Musa Mbhokzin, Pretoria
The EPL has reach its climax you can see that every team wants to collect maximum points. Man U is more focused and are going for 3points game by game. Suarez is holding grudges against Evra although he apologised.
