Madrid Remain In Cruise Control
18 February 2012
Real Madrid took a provisional 13-point lead at the top of the La Liga table with a convincing 4-0 win over 10-man Racing Santander on Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the sixth minute before the visitors saw Domingo Cisma harshly sent off. Karim Benzema then doubled Madrid's tally before goals from Angel Di Maria added a third in the second-half. Benzema then wrapped up the result late on.
Madrid dominated the opening few minutes and their reward arrived in the sixth minute when Kaka nodded the ball to the far post where Ronaldo guided it in from close range.
Real created number opportunities through the half but their efforts were either blocked, stopped by the goalkeeper or went wide.
Cisma then received his marching orders in the 39th minute when Ronaldo's cross brushed his arm and he was given a second yellow card.
The mountain had gotten substantially bigger for them to climb and Benzema would make things even harder when he was given the benefit of the doubt in a tight offside decision and his lifted finish just made it over the line.
Angel Di Maria made his return in the second-half and he marked it with a goal when he smashing a curling effort past the goalkeeper from the edge of the area.
The rout was then completed with a minute to go as Benzema picked up the loose ball and fired it home via a deflection.

Madrid are the most unpredictable team in the world coz they cn change lineups and still whip the oponent. And they are the most best balanced squad in earth and heaven with all positions having 2+ best players. Even Antonio Adan can put Valdes on bench. Only Xavi Alonso and Christiano Ronaldo are certain of their start coz when the project started in 2009, it was these two players whom the management wanted to build the team around them. I respect madrid management for the passion they have in soccer. When they want to do something the mean it and they never disapoint! Hala 13 points gap Hala. Adan13=13points.

Now they want RVP, thiago Silva, neymar, hulk, hazard, Bale etc. They are too shy to ask for Gonzalo Higuain coz they need him and madrid want to sell.

At Inter, Mou won the treble with a bunch of players who were not wanted by their clubs but he managed to bring out the best in them e.g et'oo and sneijder. How much was spend to get milito? Since Mou arrived at madrid, which team has been spending more on players between madrid and barca?
