Los Blancos Thrash Valencia

21 January 2013

Di Maria, Ronaldo and Ozil

Real Madrid were simply faultless in their 5-0 annihilation of Valencia at Estadio de Mestalla on Sunday night.

Gonzalo Higuain netted first for the visitors before doubles from Angel Di Maria and Cristiano Ronaldo secured a one-sided victory.

The opener arrived in the ninth minute as a swift counter attack resulted in Di Maria cutting the ball back for Higuain to steer home with ease.

Los Blancos were two goals clear in the 34th minute. Mesut Ozil played Ronaldo through on the left flank and the Portuguese winger beat Ricardo Costa before setting it up for Di Maria to finish at the far post.

A mere two minutes later number three was in the bag. Victor Ruiz provided the through-ball and Ronaldo did the rest as he shifted the ball onto his left boot and blasted it home at the near post.

Four minutes before the break Ronaldo completed his brace. Di Maria provided the cross and Ozil's deft touch lined it up for Ronaldo to rifle home in style.

Despite securing the win, Real continued to push forward and found their fifth goal in the 45th minute. Ozil slid in a superb through-ball that found Di Maria who knocked it into the back of the net.

The travelers cruised after the break while Valencia created a couple of half-chances but failed to convert any of them as they slumped to a heavy defeat.

Los blancos are like a hurricane especially CR7. Whenever they pass they leave a huge trail of heart damage. This can be revealed by all the scars on the hearts of the so called 'cules'. They have even abandoned their home @ soccer laduma due to this damage. The sad part is that Malaga will be making this damage worse on Wednesday.

Barca fans are so sad they have taken a break from this site. Reasons are RSO and the emphatic victory by the blancos.
