Bayer To Auction Messi's Shirts

Bayer Leverkusen were humbled by Barcelona earlier this week, with the German side unable to keep pace with the Champions League holders in their own home stadium.
Barca's stars, in particular Lionel Messi, are used to adulation, but it appears two of Bayer's players took their adoration of La Pulga Atomica a step too far.
Defenders Michal Kadlec and Manuel Friedrich were so keen to get Messi's shirt as a souvenier that they couldn't even wait until full time of Barca's 3-1 win.
They raced one another to Messi in the tunnel at half-time, Friedrich pipping Kadlec to the bemused Argentine's kit.
After the match Kadlec made sure to escape with the jersey Messi wore during the second stanza.
Suffice it to say that Bayer were not impressed by the child-like fervour the defenders stalked the superstar with. If only they had been so zealous in their attempts to keep him at bay on the pitch.
And so the club has decided that because of their amateurish over-enthusiasm, Messi's Barca shirts will be auctioned off for charity.
"I can guarantee you that these two players will auction off the tops for a good cause," Bayer’s technical director, 1990 World Cup winner Rudi Voller told Bild on Thursday.
"What they did was too much of a good thing. I have not yet spoken with them but I will do it."

No we watch everygame where Messi is taking part@Viper395- We dont just sing along. We can see with our naked eyes that He is God of football. We even watch Cr7 and we know that he is the best STRIKER in the world right now. I sugest you start watching more soccer broer. If you know soccer that much then why are your arguments so weak? it is almost like you are 10 years old.

what did Cr7 do for Portugal@Viper305? Portugal strugled to qualify for Euro 2012 they needed extra qualifiers to make it. I suspect you dont have right material like DSTV or Top Tv so you dont really know Messi. You only read about him on soccerladuma. You must visit youtube and Messi s videos, you will be amazed and you will understand why he was voted the best 3 times in the row. Only him and Michel Platini. Not even Ronaldinho, Ronaldo(Original) Zidane ,Pele or Maradona have managed to do that. For start google Messi vs Real Madrid and you will see magic.
