Mario Balotelli’s transfer saga between Inter Milan and Manchester City has been a roller coaster ride for the 19-year-old striker however the stretched out negotiations are expected to finally come to and end as they are at a critical stage.

Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola expected the negotiations to be finalised by the end of last week but the talks were brought to a stand still with reports suggesting that the youngster was not satisfied with the personal terms offered by the Eastlands club.

Raiola, however, is confident that all parties involved will come to a mutual agreement and that his client will be playing his football in the English league this coming season.

“As long as there's hope, there's life,” Raiola told Sky Italia. “He's calm but anxious to come to an agreement, that's normal for a lad of 19.”

“We're working and we're hoping. We are in a delicate phase of the deal, but I am continuing with my work. It could take a long time, but in the end it will be done.”
