Musona Relishes Ncobo Link
Knowledge MusonaNew Jet Rookie of the Year Knowledge Musona says he’s relishing the chance of playing alongside new signing Sthembiso Ncobo for Kaizer Chiefs.
Speaking to the Siya crew in Johannesburg, the Zimbabwean said the duo will form a deadly combination in attack for the Amakhosi.
“Ncobo is a good player and I think he is going to add more force to our striking department. The thing is that I haven’t started playing with him and he is new to the team. We are just hoping we can adapt quickly before the season starts, he is a good player.”
“Last season we finished with good performances in the Telkom Knockout, we were on our best form. If we can start where we left off last season, there is no need to change anything in our team, just to keep on scoring more goals,” he said.
The 20-year-old, who found the net five times in 21 appearances for the Soweto giants last season, said he has not set a target for himself as he wants to score as many goals as he can.
“For myself, I just want to score as much as I can,” he concluded.
