Celtic Eye Igesund For Top Job

With the news of Owen da Gama’s unexpected exit from Bloemfontein Celtic earlier today, the Siya crew can confirm that the club are looking to replace the head coach as soon as possible!

Celtic’s first league game against Ajax is looming close on the horizon on August 27 and while speculation will start circling within the media, it has come to the attention of Soccer-Laduma that Gordon Igesund has already been linked to the job.

Club insiders at Celtic have confirmed that Igesund is one of the favourite candidates for the position and his name has already come up in management circles.

Igesund has been without a club since parting ways with Free State Stars some time ago and at the time of his departure he was linked with a move to Celtic by Soccer-Laduma. It may have taken longer than expected, but it seems the five-time league winning coach may finally be making his way to Siwelele.

Havin Igesund in Bloem will be great. He's the best coach. I'd like to welcome him with warm hands in our local team. No need for him to go away while SA teams are struggling.

I do't understand what these ckub owners are seeing in this man.

He never stayed in 1 team for the season. Are we calling this an experience?

The botom line is, he will not last at Celtics, b'cos he targets teams which are deseparate , with no option but has to hire anybody who is stranded just like them.

Can anybody tell me by thus far ,How many teams did he coach in his clumsy experience?
