Fernandez Wants More Game Time

Rowen Fernandez
Former Wits and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Rowen Fernandez might be on his way out of German Bundeslinga side Arminia Bielefeld.
According to new Arminia head coach, Christian Ziege, Fernandez made it clear that he wants more game time.
"Because we can’t guarantee this, we are not going to stop him if he finds a new team." said Ziege to the local German media.
Fernandez joined Arminia Bielefeld in June 2007 on a free transfer after his contract with Chiefs came to an end and joined up with former Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp, who coached Arminia at the time.
Although he has been with the team for three years, Fernandez struggled to find form with injuries hindering his progress resulting in him making only 18 appearances for the team.
Fernandez is the third choice goalkeeper at the moment behind Dennis Eilhoff and former Germany U23 keeper Patrick Platins.
