Bucs Goalie To Go For Surgery

Robert ModiadieOrlando Pirates’ third-choice goalkeeper Robert Modiadie has been on crutches for the past two weeks after he suffered an injury during training.
The goalkeeper has seen little action at Pirates, with first-choice keeper Moeneeb Josephs grabbing most of the spotlight and Senzo Meyiwa getting the spoils.
Modiadie collided with the Buccaneers’ new signing, former Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder Patrick Malokase, and will go for an operation next week.
It’s uncertain how long he will be out of the game for, but the 28-year-old will be hoping his luck improves when his injury heals.
