Adolph Promoted To Wits Senior Team
Soccer-Laduma can disclose that Wits Junior’s product Enrico Adolph has been promoted to the club’s senior squad. The talented player has signed the Clever Boys contract that qualifies him to play first team football for the first time in his career during the 2010/2011 PSL season.
Wits And Hills Agree On Another Season
Wits have taken up their option to renew the services of Houston Hills for another season. Hills did not feature much for the Clever Boys last season as he only started one league game with three substitute appearances to his name. However, the striker did contribute to Wits’ Nedbank Cup success as he scored his side’s equaliser against Thanda Royal Zulu during the last 16 stage of the competition. The Students won the trophy in the end.
Wits Confident In Sibande’s Capabilities
Wits have extended midfielder Sandile Sibande’s contract at the club for a further three seasons. The 22-year-old Sibande, who hails from Nelspruit, has long been touted as the player for the future. The talented midfielder did not have the greatest of seasons though during 2009/2010 and he only managed to play in six games and making eight substitute appearances in the process.
