Former AmaZulu and Golden Arrows central midfielder Mduduzi Nxele has found refuge in the National First Division Kroonstad based-side, United FC.

Soccer-Laduma can confirm that Nxele signed a one-year deal with the Inland Stream side, hoping to re-ignite the spark and revive his career.

The former PSL player has been in and out of lower division teams after he was put on transfer by Golden Arrows to Durban Stars in the 2007/08 season, but has found it hard to come back to top flight football.

Nxele will be expected to take a pivotal role in the midfield and help the team gain promotion to the PSL.

The 28-year-old Nxele has been around for some time as he started at AmaZulu, who then changed their name to Zulu Royals.
