Komphela's Search For A Striker Does Not Exist - Reader’s Voice
The Kaizer Chiefs coach has been facing much criticism due to his failure to produce results. According to him, this is because the team is short of a goalscorer.
According to my understanding Chiefs have very good strikers, the only missing ingredient is how to utilise their abilities.
He has come up with a formation of playing three defensive midfielders and how are they going to score if they are defending too deep and where will the supply upfront come from while there is no link between the strikers and the midfield?
Parker should partner Paez not replace him. He has given Meyiwa a run and that's a good thing but he should have sacrificed either Katsande or Maluleke, not field all 3 of them.
I think the coach is struggling and his theory for a search for a striker is his way of buying more time at the club. He should have found his winning combination by now but he is still chopping and changing.
He has become too predictable because he always makes the same substitutions.
