VUSI Micheal Nkosi went missing on Saturday, 20 April.
His mother, Martha Duduzile Sithole reported him missing at Waterval Boven Police Station on Monday, 22 April and the police looked for him around the farm where he lives and surrounding areas with the help of his family, but with no luck.
According to Sergeant Mandla Nxumalo, the police even took the family to the farm manager, Hendrik Johannes Visagie (42), who claimed to have no idea of Vusi's whereabouts.
The 32-year-old from Mpumalanga was last seen with the farm manager on Saturday when he visited his father, Bheki, who said Vusi and Hendrik visited them in Badplaas at about 11am when they returned from a hunting trip. They drank alcohol together and left later for the farm where they both live.
Daily Sun published his story on Friday, 26 April with the headline: Vusi went to bath then disappeared!

But it has since emerged that Vusi was allegedly shot and killed by the farm manager in Skoonspruit on the road to Komati Mine.
Nxumalo told Daily Sun that the suspect confessed to shooting and killing the victim using a hunting rifle.
“On the morning of Thursday, 25 April Hendrik Johannes Visagie contacted Captain Lesese and said he wanted to talk to him. He then confessed to the captain that he is the one who shot and killed Michael Nkosi by using a hunting rifle because Nkosi wanted to report him to the farm owner for using the company car for personal things.
"The suspect took the police to where Vusi's body was. Two hunting rifles were found hidden in the bush between rocks and one was used to shoot the victim," he said.
Nxumalo added that the police and community condemn any criminal activities and cases like this are very rare in Nkangala district.
Hendrik was arrested and charged with murder and will appear in the Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday, 29 April.
