The zambians should have not made noise about it but came with evidence before fifa en say this a record holder bcos this will open flood gates of chancers.a chinese will come en claim to be de record holder,a pakistanian en everyone what we want is evidence,verified,tangible evidence which I doubt the ZFA will able to produce bcos in 1960s the coverage was less more especially in poor african countries like zambia.there were no television en newspapers yes but I dout.that is gonna be a challenge for them

This all a deliberate plot to try and discredit the Great Lionel Messi. Gerd's Mueller scored 85 in one calendar year, when still there was no offside rule. For 40 long years he held his record and no dared refute it. Now that Messi in 2012 with offside rules all he broke his record, people are refuting it.

If indeed that there are evidence to support that, this man needs to be recognise as well bcos football is football irrespective of where you playing,Though i Doubt that the zambian fA will hev a well put together evidence to substantiate that claim

When will we have Africans world greatest? I mean if de likes of etoo and drogba are not recognized! Only in Africa we will remember wat they did.... But the world will forget after once they hung up their boots. Etoo was like Jose morinho the club he plays win or do well in champions league but morinho gets into world historic books Samuel etoo in African books.

And to be precise, we not all "jah baas" puppets as @juju28 just said, regardless of the current record holder's origin and also whether these claims were from an African, Asian, American or European State, they still had to prove beyond reasonable doubt. And I bliv justice delayed is justice failed, just wonder if they gonna manage to produce enough evidence to convince every1 that this guy really scored 107 goals in a callender yr

Quite interesting, but why did the Zambian FA, & CAF, have to wait for Fifa to award Messi 1st? This record was set in the same year as Mullers, but the rest of the world hears of it only now?.. No comment. Only questions.
